Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazif, headed a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Nile Water, in attendance of Ministers of Defense, Finance, Electricity, International Cooperation, Foreign Affairs, Health, and Irrigation, as well as Omar Sulliman.
The meeting tackled a main point represented in the development trend for implementation of development projects in the African Continent, along with the infrastructure development therein.
In this concern, the prime minister called for the importance to continue supporting the African countries; either through the African Fund which affiliates the Foreign Ministry or the concerned ministries to provide Egyptian experiences for these countries, while giving priority to the Nile Basin countries. Egypt is directly related to the basin countries through the River Nile, something which called for the necessity of the resources development to achieve overall development in the region's countries.
