Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazif, met the Minister of Manpower and Immigration, Mrs. Aisha Abdel Hady who presented a report on outcomes of her recent visit to Libya including the settlement of Egyptian employees therein, which considers as a significant progress in such file. She praised the Libyan government positive and constructive situations toward points raised by the Egyptian side.
The Minister presented another report on the employees' situation in four companies as the outstanding problems were solved including Tanta Company for Linen where they agreed on paying early retirement for 400 employees and immediately operating the factory, along with reaching a settlement with the public prosecutor concerning situation of the existed employees. Concerning Al-Nubaryia Co. the Minister noted that a delegate was appointed to manage the company, which contributes in carrying on work by the coming week. They also agreed on paying dues of workers in Cocktail Company by the coming week. Regarding Amnsto Company, compensations allocated for workers raised from EGP 50 million to EGP 65 million.
In this concern, the Minister confirmed that settlement of workers situation in these four companies considers as a new relation with workers.
