Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazif, chaired the 88th meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to review internal and external issues.

The Cabinet congratulated President Mubarak, armed forces and Egyptians on Sinai's Liberation Day, and congratulated President Mubarak on resuming his activities upon the operation undertaken.

The Cabinet showed their respect towards the societal movement and the freedom of expression and opinion as long it is taken within the set law. The government confirmed keenness on the workers' interests and demands and required procedures will be taken in this concern.

The meeting will review the main principles of the handicapped draft law and those with special needs by the coming Cabinet meeting.

Regarding the external relations, the Cabinet welcomed talks of Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of IT and Communication, on Hillary Clinton announcements yesterday in the Business Summit. Obama has called for two initiatives; launching a Business Initiative in Egypt and establishing a new fund partnership for the technological investment with USA government.

The Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, reviewed a report on the performance of business sector companies over 2009/2010.
